World IPv6 Day
Today is the World IPv6 Day. According to the website, the goal of the day is "to motivate organizations across the industry to prepare their services for IPv6 to ensure a successful transition as IPv4 addresses run out." Unfortunately, my Internet Service Provider does not support IPv6. Anyway, this website should work fine with IPv6 only connections. If you want to test your connection, try http://test-ipv6.com.Nov 7, 2010
IPv4 counter
This week I've seen an interesting IPv4 exhaustion counter that I'd like to share.
I'm not sure if this counter is completely correct but I think it is important as most ISP (Internet Service Providers) haven't started the migration to IPv6. At least in Brazil, we haven't any information about an ISP that have already started it.
If you don't know if you have an IPv6 address, you can visit the site http://ipv6-test.com/
