Since OpenSUSE 11.1 I've seen an error on MySQL logs from Akonadi and I continued to see this error on OpenSUSE 11.2.
Akonadi logo
The message was: [ERROR] Can't open and lock privilege tables: Table 'mysql.servers' doesn't exist Akonadi used to work with this error, but today I faced some problems with it and after solving this error Akonadi run nicely again. The solution was found on KDE community forums. Stop Akonadi by running: akonadictl stop Then run the following command to create the missing table: akonadi mysql does not have mysql database Et voilĂ !
